How to Create Google Plus Page for Your Blog

We all know about Facebook business pages. They are essential for promoting a business or a blog or other services. But what about Google Plus? Many of us use our Google+ personal profiles to promote our business but it is not professional. Google has introduced pages for brands. Using brand pages feature you can promote your blog. So today I am going to talk about how to create Google plus page for your blog. Before you move on let’s take a look at our Google+ page for HolaMerea.

Google+ is one of the most important social networking sites. It is important to get great exposure here of your blog. Moreover social signal is a key factor in ranking in search results. A Google plus page for your blog is similar to Google plus profiles. You can share here anything as you share in your personal Google+ profile. Getting a Google+ brand page enables you to give your blog or brand more followers and shares in this particular social network. You will need a Google account to complete these steps.

Guideline to Create Google Plus Page for Your Blog

Go to create page and click on create Google+ page button.

On the next page give the name of your page in the brand account name field, it may be your blog name. Click on the create button. Click on enable when you will be asked to enable Google+ for your brand. Your Google+ page will be ready instantly.

Now click on continue. Go to profile on the left sidebar. Here you can ad profile picture and cover photo of your blog or brand. To do that click on edit profile.

You should also go to About page to add details about your brand. You can add your contact info, websites and story there. Click on the big ‘+’ button on the lower right corner of that page. Try to fill up everything there.

I think now your Google plus page for your blog is ready to go. Share this page on your blog and also with your clients to get more Google+ plus followers.
